Honey – Canonica ai Borri - Incisa

We are the lucky keepers of a special place in the heart of Tuscany. We feel responsible for taking care of it and for this we have become farmers. Because we believe that doing agriculture means living the territory and enhancing its resources, its history and its traditions.

We are located in the Upper Valdarno, a triangle of land between Florence, Arezzo and Siena, more precisely on the plateau of Loppiano that soft and degrading descends from the side of the Chianti Mountains to the Arno river in the valley bottom. A landscape rich in biodiversity where vines and olive trees alternate with woods, rows of cypresses and flowering meadows.

Honey is a healthy and energetic food, the only sweetener that does not need any processing, except the patient and incessant work of bees, that transform tiny droplets of nectar into a sweet and thick liquid with variegated aromas and colors. Depending on the flowering period, we produce different monoflora and millefiori honeys, that we collect only when the quantity is in surplus compared to the needs of the bees.
