Millefiori Honey
It is honey that most represents the aromatic map of our territory, because it is made up of many different nectars, collected from a multitude of flowers that hatch in the same period. We produce a spring Millefiori and a Summer Millefiori, the color and taste can vary from year to year depending on the season and the variety of the flower origin. Generally the spring Millefiori consists mainly of cherry, heather, dandelion and other meadow flowers. It has an amber yellow color and a sweet taste and delicate fragrance. The summer Millefiori is a dark and aromatic honey, basically composed of bramble, white clover, melilot, facelina, alfalfa, gorse and so on. Depending on the season, the summer millefiori can be enriched by a more or less marked note of chestnut or honeydew, that give the honey a bitter or caramelized flavor. They are unique honeys that lend themselves to the most varied uses, from daily use to pairing with cheese, the preparation of desserts and sweet and sour meats and vegetables
