The old Florentine Museums for kids
A family friendly approach for guided tours to some of the most interesting museums in Florence
The program:
- 10:00 You meet your guide at your hotel reception in Florence
- 10:15 Walking towards the Science Museum with its superb planetarium, guided visit to the museum
- 11:30 Walking towards the "Palazzo Vecchio", where daily activities for families with children of different ages are organized, starting from 4 years old
- 12:45 Walking towards Restaurant La Cucina del Ghianda and lunch with Tuscan specialties, fruit juice and wine. After the lunch, the group will be escorted in the Ponte Vecchio area ("Old Bridge"), where the Museo della Specola (Zoological History) is located
- 14:30 Guided visit to La Specola with laboratory for children
- 16:30 Return back to your hotel and end of the excursion
Day tour (10:00 – 16:30) includes: an expert English-speaking guide, entrance tickets to the museums and a Tuscan lunch with fruit juice and wine.
