Oltrepò Pavese Castles and Wine Tour

Strolling through Oltrepo’ hills means passing by historical villas, small villages and fortified castles that once belonged to noble families such as Malaspinas, Dal Vermes, Beccarias and Sforzas, revealing a rich and lively history. Including the visits to 2 of the most ancient and well preserved castles in Oltrepo’ area, this tour is together a step back in time and an introduction to its typical wines, and makes the trip totally worth it. Starting from Milan or Pavia, a luxury, private car will drive you to the enchanting Castello di Cicognola, built in the 12th century in a strategic position over the Scuropasso valley. In the afternoon, the tour will continue at Castello di Stefanago, an estate surrounded by 331 acres of land, of which 44 are vineyards. The rest is forest, orchard, and farm land.
